우주 및 세계를 뜻하는 둥근 원안에 금광기업을 의미하는 ‘ㄱ’자가 겹쳐져 있는 형상으로서 금광기업의 기업정신인 근면, 기술, 개척정신을 의미하고, 세 개의 수평라인은 세계를 가로지르며 뻗어나가는 금광기업의 힘과 글로벌 기업으로의 도약을 의미한다. 원의 굵기를 다르게 표현하여 진취적인 기상을 표현했으며 상하의 대칭구조는 조화와 균형, 절제와 화합을 통해 인류복지에 기여하고자 하는 의지의 표명이다. 메인컬러인 블루는 고객들에게 신뢰감과 안정감을 줌과 동시에 우량기업을 향한 금광기업의 도전의지를 상징한다

The Gumgwang’s initial ‘ㄱ’ overlapped on the round circle that represents the world and the cosmos, symbolizes Gumgwang’s corporate spirits which are diligence, skills, and pioneering. The 3 parallel lines illustrate the influence of Gumgwang spreading across the world as well as its leap towards being a global company. The thickness of the circle is adjusted to display the enterprising spirit of the company, and the horizontal symmetric structure shows harmony and balance along with moderation and compatibility which presents the company’s determination to contribute to the well-being of mankind. The main color of the company, blue, is chosen to provide trust and stability to the clients as well as the will to overcome the challenge to becoming ablue-chip company.
